What was the highlight of Castilla Termal Olmedo
When in need of more luxury
While you have to pay extra for both, I thoroughly enjoyed their indoor physical therapy and outdoor salt water pools very much, and the breakfast buffet is extensive. The beds are very comfortable.
To get a room with a walk-in shower, you have to upgrade from a standard room. We were in upgraded room 134 and the thermostats in the two rooms did not function correctly. I reported that the bedroom was hot, and they simply came and put the thermostat down to 5 degrees centigrade to moderately cool the room.

Nice Termal hotel with good food at a competitive price
Nice (quite small) water circuit. Very clean rooms and facilities. Nice personnel.
To use Sauna or Steam you need to pay extra as part of a pools path, even if you have access to the Spa in your booking. Small facilities require you to book in advance to your stay for Spa or pools. Be careful with this specially on long weekends.

A great value gem.
Just driving into the Hotel was an instant pleasure. You just know you are going to really like your stay. Nothing afterwards contradicted it. The facilities and the standard of presentation of them is top class. We wished we had more time to have taken advantage of the Spa, it really was high class and very inviting. Reception were very helpful and explained where we could park and charge our car. Something more Hotels should take note of, a big plus these days. A nice enough restaurant and OK menu. Room was well appointed and very comfortable. Bathroom of a very high standard.
Would have liked a shaving socket in the bathroom but extremely minor point and only because I left our adapter behind.
